Reading about your Writing Homework
Every Monday Homework will be checked. You are required to have:
- 7 days logged on your Daily Reading Log with 30+ pages read each night in a book on, or 1 level above, your current independent reading level.
- 5 H.O.T. Short responses in your reading notebook that have been revised and edited. (Dates will correspond with dates on your R.E.E.E.L Good Short Response Tracker and Editing Tracker)
- 1 Five paragraph Literary Essay in your writing notebook that has been revised and edited. (Dates will correspond with dates on your Essay / Extended Response Toolbox tracker)
Both Notebooks will be collected monthly and graded with a rubric
